Lake Havasu

Scott and I went to Lake Havasu today. We got up at the butt crack of dawn and drove 3 and half hours hoping to see hundreds of hot air balloons fly into the air at the same time. Didn't exactly happen that way...was it worth the drive though? ehhhh, not really. We made the most of it though and drove right back:)

Two things that could have made the trip a little better was a ride in a balloon ($185 a person, no thanks) and a funnel cake. When its all said and done i'm glad we are exploring Arizona before we move away and regret not getting in the car and just driving somewhere. Would love to hear what others did on this beautiful Saturday:)

for the next time you're in a beautiful place and there are hot air balloons just laying about...when i looked into hot air balloon rides in michigan....they ranged upwards of $600. life is short....grab it by the horns!!
