Sofia's Baptism

This past Sunday I was honored to photograph a very special day for Aly and Joe. Their beautiful baby girl Sofia was baptised at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church with a wonderful reception that followed with amazing food, family, and friends. As always Aly and Joe and their  families were absolutely welcoming, loving, and hospitable. Thank you again for allowing me to be part of such an awesome day.

Baby Nicholas

Andy and Jill were blessed with their second boy just a couple weeks ago. Aly passed my name along to Jill and on Saturday Scott and I met this wonderful family and their adorable new bundle of joy:) I couldn't have asked for a smoother session that day. Scott was super helpful in moving things and holding up a sheet to give a clean background behind Nicholas. I might be a bit bossy at times ha ha, but we make a fabulous team:) I'm pretty sure he thinks so too. Most importantly, Nicholas slept the entire time and Andy and Jill are one the most easy going parents I've ever met. Thank you so much for having us over and I hope you enjoy the photos.

This is Benjamin...he's the big brother:) I could have eaten him the second I saw him, he's so cute!



    

Sneak Peek...

I had a fabulously, busy weekend and here is one photos from each event. My weekend started off with Baby Nicholas, oh he's so adorable!! He slept the entire time and was so easy to photograph. I'm excited to show you more soon. Next, was Paige and Desi's Sweet 16 party. I know Paige through her mom Judith:) Love the family and was excited to snap some photos for their memories. The last event was baby Sofia's baptism. It was another amazing day with Joe and Aly's family. I don't know what I would do without you guys.

Family

Went home for spring break. Most of my time was surrounded by my niece and nephew, Luke and Ana, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

David & Bertie ~ 50th Anniversary

On a beautiful Friday night, David and Bertie had a small, intimate ceramony to renew their vows after fifty years of marriage. What an honor it was to meet them and their wonderful family for this special occasion. Bertie had every little detailed planned and organized and she did an amazing job. There aren't very many couples out there that could imagine getting to fifty years, but David and Bertie got there and although this is the first I met them I could see the love they have for each other. I wish I had more time to just sit and listen to their stories throughout the fifty years. You two are in inspiration to me, thank you for letting me be part of such an amazing night. Congratulations!

Shoot #2 with Addison

Haven't done this before, but I was able to go back to photograph Addison for a second time yesterday:) My first visit was great, but I felt like we didn't get enough in. Bri's mom has been visiting from Michigan and we didn't take any shots with her and Addison. This was my biggest focus the second time around. She leaves this week so i'm really happy we were able to fit in more picture time. Thank you guys for being so patient with me:)

Addison Sophia Hill

So far 2011 has been the year for babies and i'm loving it! Do I love getting the question..."so when are you and Scott going to have one??", not so much. One day we'll have our own, until then we'll enjoy other babies:) I have finally been able to come over to my friend Bri's house and meet Addison. Oh she is a doll!! Absolutely adorable! It's been a super rainy weekend, but it cleared up enough for us to step outside for a second and take a few. Thank you Bri and Marc for having me over. You two are natural parents and I cannot wait to see your sweet baby Addison again. Here are a few pictures from today.
